What does the holiday include?

PACKAGE HOLIDAYS bookable on the website include flights from the UK airport to resort airport and return, all airport and passenger taxes and charges at home and abroad unless otherwise stated, baggage allowance on your flight, all meals and in-flight entertainment as provided by the particular airline providing your flight, transport between the resort airport and your accommodation (unless you have hired a car for collection at the destination airport), accommodation and meal arrangements as specified in our confirmation, the services of our local representatives for advice and assistance.

What do your accommodation ratings mean?

Our accommodation ratings are based on feedback from our customer questionnaires.

• 2 flames - Good value standard, budget accommodation
  
• 3 flames - Well maintained, popular accommodation with amenities.
  
• 4 flames - Well established or new with range of facilities and quality service.
  
• 5 flames - High quality of comfort and service with a wide selection of facilities.
  

Our + ratings differentiate between accommodations that have the same rating but differ slightly in quality. These classifications are purely a guide, please check the hotel/apartment description for the official rating.

What type of accommodation do you offer?

Hotels
We feature hotels to suit all tastes and pockets - but all of high standard. Select bed & breakfast if you want to make the most of local tavernas and restaurants. Alternatively choose half board (which usually means breakfast and evening meal - although you may be able to arrange to have lunch instead of evening meal if you ask locally). Set menus, including local and international dishes, are normally offered by hotels, but some hotels also have an A la carte menu at an additional charge. Some hotel meals or courses may be buffet style offering a variety of dishes.

Apartments & Studios
Enjoy a holiday home in the sun in an apartment or studio: the freedom to do as you please; good value for money too. Sample the local restaurants and tavernas or eat at home - all our self-catering accommodation has some cooking facilities. In Cyprus all of our accommodation has its own pool and most apartments have air conditioning (for which there may be a local charge - see individual accommodation descriptions for details), lounges and full cooking facilities. In Greece, most of our accommodation has its own pool, if not, most will have the use of one nearby - look for the Use of Pool logo. Internally, a different style prevails. Lounges are rare in self-catering accommodation and some have only minimal cooking facilities. See our individual descriptions and choose what suits you.

Villas with Pools
If you want to stay in superb accommodation where you have the freedom and space to do as you please when it suits you, then you should consider a villa holiday. Choose from the hand picked villas in Cyprus, newly built villas in Corfu or Paxos which can accommodate 2-8 people in 1-3 bedroom villas. Each villa comes with a private pool and is fully equipped with everything you could need down to the last teaspoon, and all offer that special something. Some of the villas are located side by side which makes it ideal for large groups of families and friends who wish to be close to each other.

So whether you want to explore the local restaurants and tavernas or entertain your friends in your villa, a villa holiday may suit your requirements.
That is not all! To complete your package, we include FREE car hire - this really is self catering in the grand manner.

Village Houses
Visit the past by staying at a typical Cypriot village house in the heart of rural Cyprus in the village of wine producing Omodhos on the slopes of the Troodos Mountains. Our selection of village houses consists of a mix of traditional and more recent (but traditionally designed) properties, ranging from house studios ideal for 2, up to a full 2 bedroomed house for 4.
All are fully equipped, and to enable you to explore to the full this beautiful part of Cyprus - or reach the nearest beach just 15 miles away - we provide a free car. For a holiday with a difference try a village house!

What is "Saver" accommodation?

"Savers" are perfect for holidaymakers who are flexible enough to let Odyssey Worldwide choose the accommodation for them. The allocated accommodation will be selected from the Odyssey Worldwide portfolio of contracted accommodation therefore ensuring good quality standards for you and your family or friends.

Savers include all the essential elements of your holiday such as flights, in-flight meals, return transfers, visits from our Odyssey Representative and accommodation, so you get the holiday you want for a good deal for less.

What do Accommodation Special Features offer you?

Free Car Hire (Villas & Omodhos Village Houses)
"Free car hire" means that you will not be charged for the hire of the car, nor for any of the items normally included in our car hire prices, but any item or service not included in our car hire prices will be payable locally.

Exclusive to Odyssey Worldwide
When you see one of these symbols it means that that accommodation is exclusive to Odyssey Worldwide completely or is not shared with any other UK tour operator. Since most Greek self-catering accommodation is smaller than in Cyprus, we could apply these symbols to nearly all of it, but we think you would find this confusing. We have therefore restricted use of these symbols to the larger and more select properties in the Greek Islands and to our exclusive Cyprus properties, all of which we are proud to offer - Exclusive to Odyssey Worldwide ...Exclusively for you.

Sharers Save Too
Where hotel rooms are large enough it is often possible to put in a 3rd or even a 4th bed. Where this is possible the third and fourth persons will receive a reduction.

Singles Save!
Odyssey Worldwide has managed to obtain some very keen prices on your behalf and at certain times, you won`t have to pay a single room supplement in various hotels. We also feature low prices for single travelers in the low season. Most of our self-catering accommodation carries only minimal under-occupancy supplements in low and mid season. We also feature some hotel single offers. Look for the "Special Bonus" box under accommodation descriptions.

Free Meals
We have negotiated with a number of hotels to offer a FREE upgrade to Half Board at a Bed and Breakfast price, or to Full Board at a Half Board price. Check the `Special Bonus` box under accommodation descriptions.

Child Stays Free
At most hotels we have also arranged 'Child Stays Free' offers for up to 2 children between the ages of 2 and under 12 sharing accommodation with 2 full fare paying adults.

First Child: The price of the holiday represents only the cost of flights and transfers to and from the accommodation for a child sharing a room with 2 full fare paying passengers.

Second Child: Pays either the first child price or a reduced adult price.
NB: Most 'Child Stays Free' offers include breakfast, but some include half-board, or even all-inclusive!

Reduced Child Price
In all of our self-catering accommodation we`ve arranged a very special deal for families with children. Look for the logo, and where you see it we have arranged specially low prices for up to 2 children between the ages of 2 - under 16 if sharing a studio or apartment with 2 full fare paying adults.

First Child: The actual price of the holiday for a child sharing a studio or apartment with 2 full fare paying adults.

Second Child: Either pays the same price as the first child or a small supplement on the first child price.

Free Meals for Children
At some of our hotels, if 2 adults book half board or full board, their children (aged 2-12 years) will receive FREE meals (either half or full board as appropriate). At some hotels children will receive a 50% reduction on the half or full board supplement. See individual "Special Bonus" boxes for details.

Single Parents
Where twin-bedded hotel rooms are occupied by one adult and one child (over 2 and under 12) both will usually pay the standard price. Now we can offer great savings at some hotels. Check out the individual "Special Bonus" boxes for SINGLE PARENT SAVERS. This means that you will pay the same low child price for your child as children staying with two adults, provided that the adult is charged the single room supplement. What age do we classify children as?

Child ages

At most hotels children ages are between 2 and under 12.
In all of our self-catering accommodation children ages are between 2 and under 16.

Infants and Cots

The way that cots are booked depends on the type of accommodation which you select:

Self-catering studios and apartments: If your party includes an infant (up to 2 years on date of return) a cot will be automatically added to your booking at a charge of £20 per cot per week. If you do not require a cot to be provided, please call our Reservations team and ask for it to be removed from your booking.

If your party includes a child older than 2 years on the date of return, but you still wish for a cot to be provided, please request this when making your booking. There will be charge of £20 per cot per week.

Hotels: At most of the hotels we offer cots will be provided FREE but if there is any charge it must be paid locally. PLEASE REMEMBER THAT IN ALL CASES A COT MUST BE REQUESTED WHEN BOOKING.

Note: Cots provided overseas are unlikely to be to UK designs or standards, so please check them for suitability before using them. Please also note that the presence of a cot in a studio/room/apartment will more often than not count towards the occupancy of that accommodation. Please check with our Reservations team before you book to avoid misunderstandings.

What is Early Booking Discount?

Where you see the Early Booking Discount logo we are able to offer an especially low price you can save up to £125 per person or £250 per couple! This discount is included in the per person price shown for each hotel/apartment. To take advantage of this low price, you must book before the date shown in the logo. After that date we may increase these prices. These low priced holidays are limited and will be available on a `first come, first served` basis, so remember to book early for the best bargains.

You can save more as these fantastic low prices are in addition to any other offer or discount you may qualify for on the holiday you select.

What is Extra Group Savings?

This year we have some particularly good group offers - you need as few as 8 people to take advantage of them and Early Booking Discounts apply to all of our Group Offers.

What is All Inclusive Holidays?

If you want the ultimate in value choose an all inclusive holiday at one of our selected hotels and keep your travelers cheques or credit card in your pocket. Admittedly, the price is greater than for ordinary bed and breakfasts or half board arrangements, but look at what is included in the price: full board, free snacks and locally produced drinks, and free use of a variety of the hotel's sporting and entertainment facilities.

10/11 Nights Holiday Duration

We know you don't always have to be tied to the standard 7 or 14 night holidays. Therefore, where you see the corresponding logo, we have arranged 10 or 11 night holidays at a wide range of accommodations in selected featured resorts,, for departures from featured airports throughout the UK.

What is Free Taxi Transfer?

For Odyssey guests at all hotels where we offer the Odyssey Gold service we will provide taxi transfers between the airport and your hotel both on arrival and departure absolutely free. This is for a minimum of two persons and taxis may have to be shared with other guests. In some instances, where a taxi is not conveniently available, a twelve seater mini cruise vehicle will be used. If you are traveling on your own to one of these hotels, a single traveler supplement of £25 will automatically be added to your holiday price for this service. For other hotels and self catering accommodation, to ensure the competitive values we are proud of, transfers will continue to be by coach, mini-bus or taxi at our option. Please note that Free Taxi Transfer only applies to package holidays with minimum duration of 7 nights.

• Add any other travel arrangement or facility advertised in here e.g. our economic travel insurance, a taxi transfer from airport to your selected hotel, or a cruise from Cyprus.


• Why not add a car and by booking flights, planning your route and booking hotels at your planned stopping points, you can make your own fly-drive holiday.


• Use this facility to travel independently through Greece and its Islands or the varied resorts of Cyprus!
