We tried to check availability on Tour Operator A's site and gave up very quickly! Their site is almost unusable. We've also looked at Tour Operator B and C websites - they're no better! The requirements of a travel company web site were fairly straightforward, i.e. you browse the brochure, find something you like, check availability for the dates you want and book it, something which you seem to have done admirably, why your competition can't do this I don't know. • Firstly, your online booking system is surely the best one for package holidays in the UK, and the late deal we got on our holiday was great. Many other companies ask you to call them for late deals - fortunately Odyssey seem to have realised the benefits of modern technology!

• " My sister (Susannah) and I recently travelled to Cancun , Mexico with Odyssey Holidays. Unfortunately we were caught up in Hurricane Wilma and on the third day of our holiday were evacuated from our hotel to a nearby refuge. I am writing to thank you for the professional way this situation was dealt with. During our time at the refuge, the staff from our hotel (Dos Playas) was calm and efficient in dealing with the 160 or so people under their charge. At all times we felt safe and well protected and were given adequate food and water ."
